PAPY TEX
LOVE DOCTOR

Hello everyone. I am a happy man to do this post. I will do a post about love coming in from a great singer. His name is Papy Tex. He was a great friend and musical partner to the late Pepe Kalle for those who do not know.

Today I call him LOVE DOCTOR. Why you ask?

He did a song that will give this nickname its place. It is known as Ibetibi but it is actually a remix of song he did called Ce n'est pas ma faute. Ce n'est pas ma faute was done in 1987 while Ibetibi was done in 1992. The latter one is much more known and more loved than the 1987 version.

This song actually speaks on a great truth of a man falling for a woman. In fact Papy Tex sings of a man who is falling hard for a woman who he calls a angel in his heart. Papy Tex is expressing his emotions of this woman is a great inspiration and the only that he can and should be with but if she rejects him then he will be in incredible pain irreparable.

What this song speaks of is a society notion that only women can be weak but it is not always the case. Men can sometimes be weak too especially concerning a woman. It applies to me as a man or other men. Papy Tex is so right to sing about this. Papy Tex is showing his vulnerable side and he is making ok for men to also express their pain when they get rejected by a woman that they believed was the one for them.

That is why I call him love doctor. He is here to help other men who don't get the woman that they always want but to give them medicine to let them know that they are not alone in their pain but with good music medicine, it can help them continue their adventure until they find the woman that they can spend the rest of their lives with.

Thank you Papy Tex for the song Ibetibi. It is a good medicine to our souls when we are heartbroken.

PAPY TEX
DOCTEUR AMOUREUX

Bonjour tous.

Hello everyone. I want to give a pleasure of dedication to Papy Tex. I am doing a dream duet based on him. I got someone that Papy Tex needs to sing with if you ask me. Fortunately he is alive like Papy is.

I am speaking of Bozi Boziana. I am actually surprised that no one has made an effort to get Bozi Boziana to sing with Papy Tex. I know that they were rivals of a competiton hosted by the late Dewayon who was a mentor to Franco and older brother of Johnny Bokelo. Papy Tex said that Bozi was part of the band Bana Yolo with Djo Mali.

That was the past. I want to focus on the future. Here is why I want to see Bozi Boziana and Papy Tex sing together.

1) Papy Tex needs a Pepe Kalle voice with him since Pepe was his best friend and closest friend out of all friends that he had.
2) Bozi Boziana sounds like Pepe Kalle but he is much more fragile. Don't believe me, listen to the song Sanda. It was amazing how similar that they used to sound like. It was just amazing accept Bozi has that fragility that makes the difference between him and Pepe Kalle.
3) They are the last of the Zaiko generation.

The last one is important. I know Papy Tex was never part of the Zaiko clan but basically his generation is really called the Zaiko generation. Zaiko practically made its impact on Congolese music. Bozi Boziana and Papy Tex are the same age, I think. They were both born in 1952 if I am not mistaken. I am not sure but I think that they are 68 years old.

Bozi and Papy are really among the last folks of the Zaiko generation since many have passed apart from Nyoka Longo himself. They don't have to do very fast soukous songs but make well balanced soukous with some rumba. In fact I have one song that would fit them perfectly.

Monique.

They need to sing this song for the fans because Bozi is softer and Papy Tex knows to put force with his voice. I think that we hear this, I think the Bana Yolo and Bana Empire can be in peace and finally we get two sides to call a truce in a public sense. I know Bozi and Papy are not enemies but unfortunately many still are not convinced. I think that is why they need to do a duet together and particularly sing the song Monique.

MAIKA MUNAN
AFRICA SWINGER

Hello everyone. This is the week of Congo Independence. I want to do a post for an artist that I enjoy so much. I am talking about Maika Munan. He is the one who has worked with many great Congolese singers like Ballou Canta, Nyboma, late Madilu, Koffi Olomide, late Papa Wemba, late Dindo Yogo, Reddy Amisi, late Pepe Kalle and many others. He made a great album in 1995 that remains a classic in my eyes. It is called Africa Swinger.

I will focus on the most important moments due to time.

I love when he did the Boscomania because he gave hommage to a Congolese musician who was based in Kenya who was known as Jean Bosco Mwenda. I loved how he played on Masanga. It was perfect.

African Swinger was a great song because we hear the voice of Maika Munan. He really sounded perfect. I wished Maika would sing more often because his voice is very nice to hear and he has a melody in his tone. In addition of Papa Wemba was perfect and he really sang well. His tenor just added something nice to the song.

Bwana Mukubwa is another great song because this song is done in Swahili. This Swahili version is Shaba from Katanga. Maika Munan is actually from Katanga. He is cousin or uncle of Barbara Kanam who would work with Papa Wemba on Wemba's last album Maitre d'Ecole. I think Barbara Kanam sings in this song but I am not sure. I will have to ask to make sure. Regardless, Maika sounds perfect with singing. You see good harmony from the singers.

Lingo x 2 is a classic without doubt. This was a Viva La Musica singing sounding song. This was a semi-reunion with addition of Abby Suriya. It had Reddy Amisi, Dindo Yogo and of course late great legend le nkuru Papa Wemba. Papa Wemba just shined throughout the song. It was powerful and great.

Comes Makaramba which has Papa Wemba's one time songwriter Koffi Olomide Mopao with Carlyto, Abby Suriya, Faya Tess and Tshala Muana. It was a star studded song. They used the animation from Papa Plus which made the song much greater. I really enjoy this song a lot.

But the best part was the song Rosina. In that song, it was a love song but one thing that stood out was the memory of Grand Kalle. Maika Munan really sounded close to Grand Kalle in many aspects. The emotional wave reminded of how Grand Kalle used to sing in a regular basis. I am impressed and I think this song needs to be remixed so many times. I think the female partner with Maika is Barbara Kanam but I am not sure. I think that Barbara Kanam should sing this with Meje30. I think they would harmonize perfectly in this great song that Maika made.

Hello everyone. I got a Papy Tex special for everyone's heart. I will do a dream trio. I have found two singers that should have sung with Papy Tex on a nzonzing record if you were asking me.

They are late second voice singers King Kester Emeneya and Grand Ninja Madilu System. These men would have been perfect candidates for a Papy Tex nzonzing record. Think of how much control that Papy would have with these two men at his side. Since he is tenor, he would able to get these men straight to his ears on how he wants them to sing. Kester and Madilu were second voice singers. I am sure that they would have worked hard to please Papy Tex.

Papy Tex is actually a good composer as a singer. He knows how to make good melody as a composer. Kester and Madilu would have enjoyed Papy's ability of making great melody with his artistic skills.

Kester Emeneya apparently took some influence from Papy Tex and he used some of his emotional gimmicks for his singing.

Madilu definitively fitted well with Papy's voice much more than anyone else including Pepe Kalle though Papy and Pepe were a great duo. Hear the song Plus Jamais, you will get my point from there. Madilu and Papy Tex were a better musical match than Madilu was with Nyboma.

One song that would have been perfect for them would have been Phono where Kester would give a more different take on his anger towards Jimmy Mukelenge who was the main subject of the original song Phono. Kester would do the co-vocals while Madilu and Papy Tex would harmonize perfectly.

Do you think Kester-Madilu-Papy Tex would have been a perfect trio or not? I say yes.

Dream Quartet: Homba Petit Bokul, Baby Ndombe, Jules Kibens, Suzuki

Hello everyone. It has been a little while. Work has been pretty incredible and many life changes are coming. But I have some time and I will speak on my dream quartets.

Here is the first one for you guys. This is the Wenge, Viva La Musica and QL team together. I am speaking about former Viva La Musica Singer Homba Petit Bokul, Wenge BCBG singer Jules Kibens, former QL singer Suzuki 4x4 and former Wenge Musica Maison Mere singer Baby Ndombe

Why did I select these four men together? Because they are great singers to bring emotion and joy. The emotional singers are Homba and Suzuki. The joyful singers are Jules Kibens and Baby Ndombe.

I will show examples
Here is Homba

Here is Suzuki

Here is Jules Kibens

Here is Baby Ndombe

When you listen to their voices, you can hear which are in which area of singing. Homba is more the Papa Wemba prototype with a voice to hold your heart when you are in tears. Suzuki is someone who is expressing his heart about love and another thing which you can appreciate during hard times. Jules Kibens is the romantic man who can charm your heart and help you feel more relaxed as a individual. Baby Ndombe is someone who is a encouraging type of singer. He is the one who can encourage to go through the bad times especially times of love when it feels like nothing. Maman Mabe examples that kind of example that I am speaking of.

These four men would be perfect together for songs like Aperitif, Amore, Mbetu and Mama Mabe. You will hear great vocals from these men and great harmonies of these men. Baby Ndombe would definitively find a way to arrange a good vocal harmony with himself alongside Homba, Jules and Suzuki. I am sure these three singers would appreciate Baby's ideas. These men would be perfect for a love song that you would enjoy listening.

I hope fans can encourage these men to collaborate together. It would be something refreshing.

 Aurlus Mabele - 1953-2020

Well as everyone knows, we are in a terrible season. It is the 19th anniversary of 9/11 attacks and we are in middle of Covid-19 season where people are dying rapidly. It is global. In fact it claimed two Congolese singers that should be alive right now.

These two singers should have actually worked but never did. Obviously, they were not the same region or did the same music style within Congolese music. But I actually make a dream duo in tribute to these Congolese singers.

I am sepaking of the lates Aurlus Mabele and Fafa de Molokai. Fafa was the Papa Wemba prototype of singer. Aurlus Mabele is one of the best to do soukous music with his band Loketo during the 1980s and 1990s.

Aurlus Mabele and Fafa de Molokai would have been the perfect duo. Why you ask? Because Aurlus Mabele could have done a generique type of song where Aurlus Mabele would do the animations while you could hear some beautiful solo vocals from Fafa and you could also get some great musical harmony from Mabele and Molokai which would I think that would have been perfect and probably surprise others. Fafa de Molokai has a solid voice and Mabele was a excellent animator and a decent singer but a better animator in m my opinion.

That lead to songs that I think that this could have a great match. I have two songs that would match during their prime times. All from Aurlus Mabele

Here is my list

Betty

In other words, the harmonies would be from Aurlus Mabele and Fafa de Molokai and solo vocals would be solely from Fafa himself on most occassions. Mabele would do the animations himself since he was very good. Also a few Viva musicians would play on Mabele's records, so having Fafa would not be odd at all.

Since they are gone, we can at least acknowledge that they were gifts in Congolese music. Thank you Mabele and Molokai for giving your services in Congolese music. Whether be from Kinshasa or Brazza. No difference at all.

Have a great weekend.

 Aurlus Mabele - 1953-2020

Should there be new versions of OK Jazz and Empire Bakuba

Remembering Lutumba Simaro in pictures - Kenya Page Empire Bakuba Vinyl Records and CDs For Sale | MusicStack

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is safe and sound during these bizarre times. In these times, I pose myself one question. It is not a great but I will ask regardless.

Should be there new versions of great Congolese bands? I am speaking of Le TPOK Jazz and Empire Bakuba. They were under of the two Kings Franco and Pepe Kalle. Franco passed away in 1989 and Pepe Kalle passed away in 1998. Franco's comrade Simaro passed away last year. Pepe Kalle's dear friends Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex are still alive. Some will say yes and others will say no.

Here is my response.

I will say yes. Here is why I think it should happen. Part of my reason is that people are still craving for the musics of OKJ and Empire Bakuba. I mean Franco's son Emongo did manage to get some success with his version in ways that some could not imagine. But Emongo is a business man and he should not have to work too hard especially since he is his own man and he has done very well. I am sure that his father would be proud of him very profoundly as well as his sister Sonya who also has her own business. With Pepe Kalle's family, they are doing well. One of his sons live in Paris with his kids. One daughter of Pepe lives in Chicago with her family and kids. Most notably his son Fiston is also a singer and a member of La Villa Nova of former Werrason singer Fabregas Métis Noir. He is getting success.

Another reason comes from late Djo Mpoyi's son Erick who has formed his own band Djo Mpoyi Mania which works hard to revive old great classics of OK Jazz. Erick Mpoyi is managing this band with help of his manager Helene who is deep lover of Rumba music. He demonstrate that is very possible to revive great classic music that people enjoyed and people like me love to hear right now.

Final reason is that Congolese music scene is limited and they are very few new bands that come out due to many circumstances that I will not have time to explain. I hear people complaining that there is not enough music coming out at all.

These are the reasons why I believe that it's time for new versions of Empire Bakuba and OK Jazz but here is what they need to do to make sure that these bands will be guaranteed success. Before I go to those steps, I must address the great question. Where can these bands be located. I will give the suggested areas.

Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo
Matadi, Bas Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo
Kikwit, Bandundu, Democratic Republic of Congo
Lubumbashi, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo
Kindu, Maniema, Democratic Republic of Congo
Kisangani, Haut Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo
Kampala, Uganda
Luanda, Angola
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Zanzibar, Tanzania
Kisumu, Kenya
Mombassa, Kenya
Dallas, Texas,
United States of America
Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America
Los Angeles, California, United States of America
New York City, New York, United States of America
Montreal, Canada
Toronto, Canada
London, England, United Kingdom
Lyon, France
Geneva, Switzerland
Brussels, Belgium
Paris, France and more

The bands would need to choose which location or locations that they will all agree to reside in to make their bands function.

Back to how will these bands have actual success. Here are the steps
1) Know which direction that this band will go under?

2) Establish rules

3) Members agree on which songs that they will perform together

4) Make sure that everyone reads the contracts and make comprises to make sure that everyone will be in peace.

5) Talk to the previous people about the good and bad of the work.

Final step will be very important for each group especially Empire Bakuba. They are very few OKJ folks around but they are many Empire Bakuba folks around most notably Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex. The Empire Bakuba people should speak openly with Papy Tex in particular of advice of how to have a group stable and be in harmony even with the challanges. I mean after all, he was with Dilu and Pepe Kalle for 26 years and he saw it all. So if there is anyone who could help these men, it would be Papy Tex. For the OKJ folks, they can go to Erick Mpoyi since he is a great singer and knows how to do harmony very well. I will give him that. Erick Mpoyi would be the one to give them direction for few times so he can focus on his own band Djo Mpoyi Mania.

But what is important that I want to say is that I do think that new versions of OK Jazz and Empire Bakuba is a good idea and it can do well. If the right things come and good steps are taken, these new versions can bring great memories while the musicians will make their own mark.

Remembering Lutumba Simaro in pictures - Kenya Page Empire Bakuba Vinyl Records and CDs For Sale | MusicStack

Kampala, Ouganda
Luanda, Angola
Dar es Salaam, Tanzanie
Zanzibar, Tanzanie
Kisumu, Kenya
Mombassa, Kenya
Dallas, Texas,
États-Unis d'Amérique
Minneapolis, Minnesota, États-Unis d'Amérique
Los Angeles, Californie, États-Unis d'Amérique
La ville de New York, New York, États-Unis d'Amérique
Montreal, Canada
Toronto, Canada
Londre, Angleterre, Royaume d'uni
Lyon, France
Genève, Swiss
Bruxelles, Belgique

Hello everyone. I got a R&B quartet for people who enjoy R&B music on regular basis. I found four men who melt the hearts of the ladies and I am sure that they would go and scream their names. I will give the ladies their joys.

The ladies man are Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Eric Benet and Maxwell. They are the ones who have given ladies great joys in a emotional and sexual sense for a long time. Babyface and Charlie Wilson have done it for four decades while Eric and Maxwell have done it for at least two decades. I think these men should work together musically.

Here are my reasons why they should do a song together as a quartet.
1) They are ladies man
2) They know how to use their voices in harmony with others
3) They are not too egoistic
4) They can make comprises to make sure their voices work well in a given work environment.
5) This can give more joy to the ladies especially when they see their favorite R&B stars in the same stage or same song.

Believe me, it is one thing when one of them arrives to sing his own love song for the ladies but wen they see more, it brings more joy and ladies find more joy to see these men. Believe me, I am sure for the fellas, they would command these men for putting their egos aside for wonderful love making music.

Let's wait and see when life gets back to normal, if we can see something like this happen. It would be excellent in my opinion.

Happy New Year everyone. I want to give you good wish for 2021. Luckily, I am not so busy at the moment. Here is we go. I did a dream quartet of R&B with Charlie Wilson just today. Now I got another one with him. I have found three other men who can sing with him.

They are Ginuwine, Johnny Gill and Wanya Morris from Boyz II Men. I think these men would be the best men to sing with Charlie Wilson.

Here are the reasons why they are the ones with him
1) They had a influence or two from him musically speaking.
2) They also are known exclusively for love songs. Does not matter what kind of love songs.
3) They are known for some dancing. Ladies love men who can dance.
4) They can give him great musical support which each of their voices.

In fact these reasons would fit perfectly into one very good love song that Charlie Wilson created with a influence of Snoop Dogg. He is part of the video that Charlie did.

The song is called There goes my baby which is about declaring that one lady will be the one that you will love, marry and have babies out of it as well.

If this song gets remixed and Charlie wants other R&B singers to sing with him whether on choirs or solo vocals. He needs to invite Ginuwine, Johnny Gill and Wanya Morris. These men will able to complete this song much more and they would bring more fire on the choir work while Charlie can rest with his solo vocals as ladies will happy with that.

It will be a good way to make this classic love song much better.

Highly unlikely that these men would be together but if it did happen then I think, the ladies will have a great night.

Dream Quartet: Fantasia, Jazmine Sullivan, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks

Happy new year everyone. It is time for fellas like me who love some great female R&B singers. First round has come now. Whom I am speaking of?

It is former American Idol contestants Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks with known soul singer Jazmine Sullivan.

These female singers should sing together because they are among the best emotional female singers. They know how to get to your heart. They will know how to feel good or bad based on their life experiences they have lived.

After all, all these ladies have had their good and bad times being in the spotlight. Also, they probably have been compared to one another at one point which can be annoying. Each of these ladies have their own voice. Jazmine is much raspy voice but soft vibrato. Fantasia has a raspy voice also but a strong vibrato. Jennifer Hudson has a strong opera sounding R&B voice with a very hard sounding vibrato which some fellas love to hear. Jordin Sparks has a very soft tender voice who knows how to hit the right notes no matter the song she does.

I think one song that would fit these four ladies into a song would be a song of the late Aretha Franklin. It is called you make feel like a natural woman.
Listen to this 1998 performance. It would fit these four ladies perfectly.

Enjoy this song. Happy New Year.

Dream Quartet: Karmapa, Didier Lacoste, Mamale Tupac, Blaise Bula

Now I got something of a good mixage for everyone to enjoy. I assembled these singers for some reasons. Who are the ones here on these photos. First one is Mamale Tupac who sang with Koffi Olomide and late Papa Wemba. Second one is Didier Lacoste who used to be part of Clan Wenge of Adolphe Dominguez and Werrason. Third is Karmapa who used to be a songwriter for people like Felix Wazekwa and Koffi Olomide as well. Fourth is Blaise Bula who is one great star of former band Wenge Musica.

These men would be a perfect quartet because two of them are Wenge related and other two are not Wenge related. But now all four of them would love to impress people with Rumba more often than Soukous though there are a few Sebene or Generic songs that these four men would be perfect for. Karmapa is one prince of Rumba because his Rumba songs are very impressive especially his second album. Perfect to the cure. Karmapa is a great songwriter and he knows good lyrics.

Didier Lacoste, Mamale Tupac and Blaise Bula will be perfect alongside with Karmapa's ability to write good Rumba lyrics for them to sing.

Here are some Karmapa songs that would be perfect with voices of Blaise Bula, Didier Lacoste and Mamale Tupac at least in choirs.

mobali ya bololo

Kayle Inga

Makuta Mibale

Bileyi ya Mibali

I got one Didier Lacoste that the other men would have been perfect for. This song would have had Didier Lacoste harmonize one with Bula, another with Tupac and another with Karmapa. Alternation with these three men

Kingongola

Here is Mamale Tupac's generique that would have been perfect for harmonies of Karmapa, Didier Lacoste and Blaise Bula.
Magie Noire
This song had portion of Franco's great song Kimpa Kisangameni.

Listen to Blaise Bula's great song

These songs would show the good harmonies and melodies within the voices of these singers. I also believe that they would connect well together musically. Also their voices are more soft orientated and that works well in a musical project. People who have a similar tone at their musical levels.

I will finish with this song that Didier Lacoste sang in Clan Wenge. This song would have had a great presence of Karmapa, Mamale Tupac and Blaise Bula. Enjoy this song. Happy New Year.

One Congolese post of the great female Congolese singers. I am very honored to do this. I got four great Congolese female singers that are alive for everyone's joy.

I am speaking of Abby Surya, Barbara Kanam, Faya Tess and Mbilia Bel. These women are great singers in their own right. Abby, Faya and Mbilia have sung together in the past but they have yet to sing with Barbara Kanam.

For those who may not know about Barbara Kanam, she has a family connection to Maika Munan. It is said that they are cousins. Maika Munan is one of the best guitarists to ever to live in DRC. He used to collaborate with the likes of Faya Tess and Abby Suriya.

Speaking of Maika Munan, he should be the producer and front man of this great project if these four women ever sing together on stage or record. He can play his acoustic or electric guitar while these four women give beautiful melodies as well as solo vocals that they are able to give.

Faya Tess is a more relaxed singer with a nice vibrato on it. Mbilia Bel is very soft but is able to give her own twist with her soft voice. Abby Suriya has a strong feminine voice with a delicious vibrato. Barbara Kanam has a masculine twist in her voice but yet it is soft at the same time with a sexy vibrato that I always want to hear in my ears. If I could a duo response like Franco did back in the late 1960s occasionally, I would pair Abby and Faya to respond to Barbara and Mbilia. That would be one good way of doing a quartet. Duo and duo part in one song if there is another option of harmony.

There are many songs that would fit their voices but there is one song that fit these four women.

LOVANGO by Mbilia Bel

Lovango would allow Mbilia Bel sing lead as well as Abby Suriya with choirs of Barbara Kanam, Faya Tess and Mbilia Bel. It would make the song much better with Maika Munan playing solo and rhythm guitar.

I hope these ladies will do a show or a collaboration record for the fans who love female Congolese singers.

Dream Quartet: Papa Wemba, Madilu, Lenga Lenga and Kester Emeneya

ZAIKO GENERATION:
Imagine at the time when Zaiko Langa Langa that you would be building a dynasty of many groups and musicians that you see. Whether they are big stars or not, they made a huge mark on Congolese music. It is where you had the best nzonzing records and collaboration records.

I selected four singers that would sing perfectly together. I don't know why no one was able to get these four men together during 1989 to 1991 period. Whom did I choose.

Papa Wemba Le Nkuru
Madilu System Le Grand Ninja
Lenga Lenga Ya Lengos
Kester Emeneya King Kester

These four men would have been perfect for a nzonzing project. But why? I am speaking of 1989. First of all, most of them were in Europe during that time. Also, they did not seem so occupied and were enjoying life in Europe. Lenga Lenga was also free from Zaiko Langa Langa. He had his own version called Zaiko Familia Dei. Papa Wemba did a tour around America but he did not have a overwhelming demanding schedule. Kester Emeneya already was enjoying of his successes with songs like Nzinzi. He was in Paris. Madilu himself had left OKJ and was just having fun in Europe after his work with Josky as well as Zaiko animator Adoula with Carlyto and Malage.

Musically, these men would be perfect together. I will give three reasons.

1) Three of them came from Tabu Ley singing school. Tabu Ley had a major influence on Madilu, Kester Emeneya and Papa Wemba. Lenga Lenga sounded very similar to Nyoka Longo.

2) None of them sound similar. Their voices are so distinct from one another that you can always alternate vocals with absolute ease.

3)Zaiko influence is all over of them even they make their own marks on their own songs. Whether Vocally or Musically.

These men should have done an album together with 6 songs with 2 songs of Rumba (one from Papa Wemba and one from Madilu) and 4 songs of Soukous or Rumba/Sebene. These songs would have been successful because I know Clan Zaiko fans would have been dancing. You would have many journalists and fans alike making buzz about this great project.

There is one song that would have been great for these four men.

KIMPIATU by Kester Emeneya and his band Victoria Elesien
Several Versions

Original Version

Second Version

Live Versions

This song would have been the best record for the four men to remix because the harmonies between Lenga Lenga, Madilu and Papa Wemba would have had a great harmony with Papa Wemba singing high while Madilu singing in the middle and Lenga Lenga singing low. Kester Emeneya would have done well with his solo vocals. Before the beautiful harmonies of the trio in the song, Kester and Papa Wemba do their harmony at the beginning of the song.

Prophétie song of Benz Petrole (ELBA TOP A)

I have been lately listening to the song Prophétie. It is song composed by Benz Pétrole. I want to mention this because I have been listening to the song. I love how this song goes because you have four great singers that I enjoy listening to. I am speaking of Elba Kuluma, Suzuki Luzubu 4x4, Desouza Santu and Nyboma Mwandido.

But largely why I mentioned this song is because it is about prophesying. Now that is not something I do much because I am not sure how can life can be.

Two years ago, I did a dream trio album which I did in French because I was aiming at these three singers.
Trio de Rêve Album: Les Beaux Gars Volume 2: Ballou Canta, Elba Top A et Papy Tex

It was a trio album where I was putting songs for dream trio. That would be Ballou Canta, Elba Top A and Papy Tex. The chance of them singing together let alone doing a album is 2 percent chance which I understand since they are at different stages of their careers. They also sung with Pepe Kalle at different stages in their careers.

Now weeks ago, Elba Top A himself commented which surprised me considering that I posted this from more than a year ago. It looks like people and/or someone send him this article and he really liked it which does make me happy.

Now the question is who will have the courage to get these three singers together. We will wait and see.

Personal Experience to see music: Siama Matuzungidi (Love Story with Dallas Johnson)

This is a great love story. I got a personal story. Not from me but two musicians.

I was supposed to this months ago but things happened. I am ready to start now. Actually in October of 2019, I went to a event in Saint Peters, Minnesota. I met one musician that comes from the Congo area that was part of the Congo Wave in East Africa.

I am referring to Siama Matuzungidi . If you don't know him well (which I did not know at all), he used to play with the late Kasongo wa Kanema. Now, I have heard of him before in the past. He used to work with the likes of Tshala Muana, Samba Mapangala and Kanda Bongo Man. That is impressive. He has had a spectacular career.

It was a kid event in a Library. It was actually a touching event because kids got to learn about Congolese music through a man with his wife Dallas Johnson who is a classical but relaxed singer. Siama really has a good voice. He sang perfectly alongside with his wife Dallas. Unfortunately most of the songs they performed I forgotten except two. But their musical performances were flawless and well done.

In fact, what was really good was Dallas's ability to showcase Congo almost as if we were in Congo itself showing the how the streets would be and how we would be probably be if there. That storytelling of imagination was too perfect and it makes me jealous because I wish I could do that but then again, God gives us all gifts his own way. Dallas is a great storyteller.

The songs that I do remember was where joy was filled with the kids. They were Malembe and Ko-Yimbi Ko. Both performances were excellent and really I cannot forget them. I myself wanted to jump and sing but of course, I did not want attention so I just watched and did imagine how I would move. Ko-Yimbi-Ko is a known animation that every generations of Congolese music has done from Franco to Werrason. Siama's twist into it was well and he sang Kikongo perfectly without any worry. I enjoyed those performances. I will give the links to the songs.

MALEMBE

KOYIMBIKO

Now we get into a interesting of love story. I was planning on leaving 30 minutes after the concert. I took a few photos of the concert. Check my Facebook for the photos. I was going to take a few photos and everyone else was talking to Siama and Dallas. Then you won't believe how we got into conversation. It was Dallas who noticed me and I was shocked. I took a photo and I decided to talk to them a bit and it went longer than I expected. I asked Dallas how Siama and her met, she said that it was Siama that wanted her as his soulmate. She said that they met in Japan in a group full of musicians from different countries and then when Dallas was helping Siama with health concerns, Siama made it clear to her that they were going to be a couple.

Then Dallas mentioned a interesting part of Siama. Apparently the kikongo he speaks is different than Kikongo one of his family members speaks in Bas Congo which is why another member of Siama's family has to translate for him. It can be tough because sometimes dialects of one language can be a serious problem.

Here is where I became shocked. How did they become noticed by music programs? It was actually Dallas herself who made the moves. At one point, Siama and Dallas were struggling financially that led to Siama playing in the streets. Another shocker is that he never mentioned to Dallas that he used to be in big bands in Kenya or he collaborated with the likes of Kanda Bongo Man, Samba Mapangala and Tshala Muana. But at the same time, it is good because it shows that Siama is not an arrogant but simple and humble. Dallas then got into contact with Alastair Johnson who is the host of Muzikifan. That led to her discovering so much that Siama had done. It made it easy for them to apply for Minnesota music program and it has blessed their life for a long time. These experiences also humbled Dallas herself and she eventually got very emotional and I had no words. Dallas loves to speak her mind and she can be very vulnerable. I do love that dearly.

I got to talk to Siama himself. He told me that he really enjoyed playing with the late Kasongo wa Kanema and he went to say that they were true friends during their time together. Also, he was living a decent life in Kenya and he said that it was his way of learning Swahili. Afterwards, I went to ask him about a Pepe Kalle associate. Djodjo Ikomo. For those who don't know before Empire Bakuba, Djodjo Ikomo was a major player of Congolese music in the Kenya scene. Since Siama was also popular, I proceeded to ask him about Djodjo Ikomo. He said "Of course I knew Djodjo Ikomo. I used to see him around and we would talk to each other without issues". I jokingly said that Djodjo went to sing with Empire Bakuba and he said that he knew. He did say that he wished that he had been closer to Djodjo Ikomo.

One thing that I will say is that Dallas and Siama know how to perform very well. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, it has been probably tough on them. But I am sure as soon as Covid-19 is over, they will have it less difficult. They know good music. I hope that I can see them again. I enjoyed their performance.

For more information Siama Matuzungidi and his past, check this link from Muzikifan of Alastair Johnson. I love you and you will love it.

Hello everyone. Happy Valentine's Day. Sexy Love arrives. I want to give you some good imagination of dream duets. This is for the ladies of love making music. Who are the men for the ladies.

They are Maxwell and Musiq Soulchild. These men are great love maker R&B singers. They have great emotions for love songs. They know how to sing in a way that ladies cannot control their emotions. It will give them great reactions and it may inspire them to go their fellas to make love or have a sexy dinner. I mean it creates a climate where the ladies have their emotions well set in their hearts. That is the result when Maxwell and Musiq Soulchild release their love songs.

If these two men were do a duet or an album, it will make great services to the ladies who are hungry for more than one R&B singer singing very nice love songs but two together to create more buzz with stronger desire of romance. Maxwell and Musiq Soulchild are capable of getting their voices together to sing about love making and fantasy of romance.

I got a song of Maxwell and a song of Musiq Soulchild

PRETTY WINGS OF MAXWELL

SIMPLE THINGS OF MUSIQ SOULCHILD

These songs would be perfect for these men together because it shows the romantic voices of these men in the way that will please ladies. It gives a feeling of love and joy in their hearts. I think these songs of these two men will make more hope of love in good and bad times.

I think it would be good if someone Babyface can get these two men to make great duet or duets for men to have thoughts of their honeys and the ladies have so much pleasure so they can have more fantasies of their lovers.
