Dream Duet: Franco and Nyoka Longo

I am so happy to do another set of dream duets.

Two people that I want to see do a duet together is Franco and Nyoka Longo. They need to get a duet together. Because they are both dynamic stars in my opinion. I believe that they can do some songs where Franco can do the storytelling and Nyoka Longo does his average singing. Though Nyoka Longo is not a special singer, he is able to give a show his average voice in a good light. I will give him that.

But I got a twist here. I have another artist who should part of this duet exchange that I propose.
That is La Poete.
Poete Lutumba Simaro.

Why Simaro Lutumba. Because I know, Nyoka Longo is actually very good with songs of Simaro's musical style. Etape rings a bell. It was a very slow and yet a somewhat poetic song and Nyoka Longo had a big role in that song. With Franco, we know that he sang a few Simaro records. Also a few times, it was great for Franco to play some Simaro songs and make them feel more special.

Here are few songs that I believe Franco and Nyoka Longo would give them genius material. I am only speaking of mysteries.
1) Kadima
2) Makambo
3) Mangasa

I think these are the songs that would have been a blast with Franco and Nyoka Longo worked together.

What event, it would be if this duet had happen.

Dream Duet: Josky Kiambukuta and Nyoka Longo

I am going to do a duet that would have been a special moment for us all.

I am talking about Josky Kiambukuta and Nyoka Longo. These two men are known in Congo and they are deeply respected. Josky is only 5 years older than Nyoka Longo. They all follow a certain logic.

The reason I think these men should be together for five reasons
1) They came from the Verckys era effect
2) They both were somewhat adventure men
3) They have strong confidence
4) Their voices are deep and profound (though Nyoka Longo is an average singer)
5) I actually Nyoka Longo would benefit this duet, and he could learn a few things.

I actually think it would get Nyoka Longo better artistic ability if he sang with Josky Kiambukuta. Josky knew how to make music and he knew when many things were messed up. Josky was one great missioner of music. One person that would enjoy the power of Josky is Nyoka Longo.

My final words for this post: They would be able to observe another when they sing together.

Just look at this great performance which shows Nyoka and Josky.

Dream Duet: Nyoka Longo and Pepe Kalle

I am getting prepared for a moment that should happened after a certain concert had occurred.

It was a great concert and you could see that these two bands were special and as usually, we take them for granted.

I am speaking about Nyoka Longo and Pepe Kalle. Actually, I always wondered why Nyoka Longo and Pepe Kalle did't actually made a song together. I also wondered why they did not have a moment where they knew that they should have done a record together. That is just me.

I actually say the one person that goes perfectly with the voice of Nyoka Longo is Pepe Kalle. I know I said Nyoka Longo likes a soft person with his voice but I also know Nyoka likes someone who has baritone but yet sill get high notes when needed. That is Pepe Kalle view I got for you. Pepe Kalle fits this dilemma.

Furthermore, I know that Nyoka Longo and Pepe Kalle made an duet together, they would be able to sing well together and they could both do the animations since they were great animators and they would not need their animators to help them out. Pepe Kalle in particular is one of the greatest animators to exist.

I mean look here how dynamic Pepe Kalle and Nyoka Longo were during their 1995 concert. Imagine if they did an actual record together.

Lutumba Simaro: Pepe Kalle chante La Poete Simaro Massiya

Hello everyone, I am so happy to give a overlook on a LP that I have loved a lot since I was a teenager. Now as a young adult, I am grateful to still appreciate music like this.

As some of your older rumba fans or rhumba fans as called by others, you are aware that now Lutumba Simaro is no longer is doing music mentioned in this post
http://francopepekalleclassicambiance.blogspot.com/2015/04/reflection-poet-lutumba-simaro.html
Simaro Retires

I know will speak somewhat of the great 1989 lp of Simaro Lutumba or some call him Simaro Massiya. The lp is simply called "Pepe Kalle chante La Poete Simaro Massiya". This is a Lp for Simaro Lutumba to do another nzingzong. It would his second after doing back in 1984 with the song Maya. At this time, Franco was not well and OK Jazz was going downhill. So some OKJ musicians decided to some solo projects. Simaro was one of them.

This LP is so classic. All these four songs have a important message. About love and about how to avoid trouble. Like for example, Mukelenge, you can see Pepe Kalle sing as a woman who is telling her man to keep himself under control and make sure he is well health wise and body wise. The song kind of goes into that direction. Muana Ndeke is a song where he is singing a figurative song about a Child of a Bird. But it means that it represents the issues around the life such as people, marriages, and workers.

My favorite song out of all this classic LP is the Diarrhée Verbale which literally means Verbal Diarrhea. NO it is not about the body but about the mouth. It is a reference to how much Kinshasa people love to gossip and talk shit about other people. Also, why it is a problem for Zairian people. As at the time Democratic Republic of Congo was referred Zaire or more accurately Republic of Zaire. Oh this where Pepe Kalle delivered the best. No wonder I am a Pepe Kalle fanatic today.

But we get into the remake of "Coeur Artificiel" which meant Artificial Heart. But this version of the same song is called Motema Libanga which it means in this context a Cold Heart. Kind of the same affect. Someone being cold blooded. The original song was sung by Madilu System. But in the remix it was sang by Carlyto Lassa and Pepe Kalle. Carlyto did a good job singing it but I kind of wish that Madilu had sang the remix in a sense or it should have been Pepe Kalle in this case in my opinion but then again, maybe Simaro wanted someone completely different from Madilu. So Carlyto make sense. Plus his voice is so juicy and I love juicy voices.

Excellent album if you ask me. I want everyone to get this work. It is everywhere. Excellent work from Simaro.

Another person that I meet that has interesting connections

This is a big post. Because it is another person that I found from a person itself or a sibling of mine.

I had already done a post where I met someone who has a little known profession some time ago. Well almost a year ago.
Story of Judith

Well my sister really got something about this person. Like the previous post, it is a woman. Again. AGAIN. Another woman. Any way, my sister was speaking about her band teacher. She told me that her band teacher is a hot shot in Twin Cities.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gPlUYbWwS30/UajPHtBDUfI/AAAAAAAAFS8/R0Kf_DcYuIQ/s1600/Jana+and+Adam+151361BWf.jpg
Jana Meckler (or some call her Jana Nyberg) is a actual music band teacher based in Shakopee, Minnesota (where I currently lived and have since 2006 btw). She teaches at Red Oak Elementry (where my younger siblings went to) and Pearson 6th grade center as a band teacher. It is interesting to have band teachers with their lives. Some do stand out. This woman stands out alright. My sister always insisted that this woman is a special character. I used to dismiss since I did not really care much.

Turns out that she is somewhat a big deal. She has a career that we can speak of. She was actually on American Idol back 2011. This was when she was and is doing her current profession. How did she got into American Idol, I will never know. But sadly she never went much far.

But is not an issue as Jana does Jazz music when she is not teaching children about Music especially with people into jazz or classic jazz.

Here is my actual opinion. She actually a very good singer. Her voice is just something.
Let me show you a few videos

Jana Nyberg's voice is actually a combination of Adele and Joss Stone together. That is an excellent combination. I actually like it a lot.

Maybe at some point, I will try to see if I can actually see them perform live. Who know what the future holds.

If Franco and Nico were together in OK Jazz

I just introduced you in Lingala which I putted in three different of the same words that I just said. That I putted the way you desired. Anyway I am going to focus on two guitarists. My idol Franco and Dr. Nico.

I am going to say that is not popular. Franco actually made one mistake that I find. It was not getting Dr. Nico. I know this is not a popular but I have actual reasons why Franco should gotten Nico in his band. I am speaking after 1972. I have some reasons. I'll give you six reasons

1) Franco was clearly number one
2) Nico had nothing to do after 1970
3) Franco was already used to difficult personalities.
4) Franco liked different personalities musically speaking.
5) I think Nico would have discovered something new about himself. After all, usually Franco brings the best in you in many cases.

But reason six is where I am talk more about. As mentioned, after the departure of Vicky Longomba, Franco decided to change the music of OK Jazz radically. By 1972, he introduced the music known as "African Jazz" style or more accurately the "AFRISA EFFECT" in the music of OK Jazz. As result, we get acts like Ntesa Dalienst, Josky, Sam Mangwana, Michelino, and others that come into the fold. This is how OK Jazz began to actually become even more popular than they were before.

Franco and Nico in my opinion were made for each other. Since they are two different people, that is what makes musical heaven. As often said, "Opposites attract each other". Franco and Nico were the ones who could have done it and done it well. Furthermore, Nico and Franco would be able to show their personalities on stage and I know many people would love the performances that they would have thrown.

PS: I will show you songs of Franco and Nico, that would have putted these two legends right together. I will do it soon.

The lack of use of a trio

Josky Kiambukuta, Madilu System"Jean Bialu Madilu", and Pepe Ndombe"Ndombe Opetum".

At the time around the 8th anniversary death of Madilu System. I am going to do something that I have wanted to do but now I am going to release of OK Jazz fans.

I love duets and I am going to get more duets coming up soon. Right now too occupied by family, women and work. No kidding women want to see left and right.

But I also love trios as well. This is going to be first post dealing with trio. But this post will do one thing: speak on a lack of a trio.

I am speaking about three singers that I like a lot. Especially being in OK Jazz and their own careers. I am speaking of Josky Kiambukuta, Madilu System and Pepe Ndombe.

These are singers that had their impact on OK Jazz in unique ways. I don't like the fact that there were few songs that had the voices of Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe. Especially when Madilu came into OKJ in 1980, I wish that Franco or Simaro would have tried to get Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe to get a few songs together. Like it occurred with Aime Kiwakana, Josky Kiambukuta, Lokombe Ntal, and Madilu System. Or Simaro and Franco could have founded ways to get Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe to alternate with Wuta Mayi, Djo Mpoyi, Diatho Lukoki, or Aime Kiwakana

Here is why I say this: Listen to these songs. Baby and Serrer-Serrer on Josky' s 1991 classic LP
As for the opinion of this LP. Look at this link here
Baby 1991

You realize how great these songs were. Really because of Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe alone. As you can see, the fourth person can just come in to make the song even more classic. As you notice on Baby, you hear Djo Mpoyi but with Serrer Serrer, you hear Aime Kiwakana. But really it is due to the great voices of Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe.

Even better when you listen to the song Ofela which was on OK Jazz's last album before its unfortunate split. I mean you can hear the medley of Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe alone just together. No fourth person. I MEAN NO FOURTH PERSON IN THAT SONG. So this song makes my case of how much less of we had of these three people singing together.

Most of the time, it would be Josky-Ndombe effect as well as Josky-Madilu effect. Hardly we had much of Madilu-Ndombe effect. Josky/Ndombe and Josky/Madilu was more in common than Madilu/Ndombe. I hate to use this analogy but this would be like "TRIO KADIMA" crew or as the three men of Empire Bakuba. Dilu Dilumona, Papy Tex, and Pepe Kalle. Dilu Dilumona and Pepe Kalle had very similar voices. But hey they managed to meld well with Papy Tex. Guess who had similiar voices?

Madilu and Ndombe. They were both I call the "Rochereau Logos" as they sounded pretty similar to Tabu Ley Rochereau. They both happened to play with Tabu Ley (though Ndombe actually got to sing with Tabu Ley and I don't think Madilu ever had a chance as Tabu Ley preferred Papa Wemba). In many ways, their voices are very similar that sometimes you get confused who is who. So I could see why often Madilu and Ndombe would not sing together. But at the other hand, since we had Dilu Dilumona and Pepe Kalle, I feel that we could have had some more of Madilu/Ndombe moments.

This is also why I'm stunned when in 1988 when Ndombe released a solo album with OK Jazz, he made no song with Josky's voice but one song of his two songs having Madilu's voice. Interesting but then again as I stated, we often had Josky/Ndombe, Josky/Madilu and then occasionally Madilu/Ndombe. It was rare for Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe to sing together as a trio. I believe as them as a trio, we only had five songs of them together. I mean only FIVE. So disappointing.

That is why when I hear songs that had Josky, Madilu, and Ndombe together, I have so much joy since they are few in between. The chemistry of their voices together were perfect and on point.

This is also why I wished this trio would have been used in the earlier years like early 1980s to make some classic songs because it would have been also even more fun for the younger fans of OK Jazz. To see a old veteran, a great experienced singer with a younger singer would have given OK Jazz fans (I mean younger ones) some great fun when they got tired of Ntesa, Diatho, Wuta Mayi, and Djo Mpoyi and want something different. I hate that their great moments were during the later years of OK Jazz when basically people prefer Empire Bakuba and Zaiko Langa Langa.

Well it also goes into my announcement: I am going to some Trio singers that I wished came together. I will continue the duet series of course but now I will add the trio class.

One wish: More of Dindo Yogo & Madilu System

During this Madilu tribute that I am doing. I am going to focus on one thing about another wish for Madilu:

I wish that Madilu had done more songs with Dindo Yogo. It would have been great. Even further, I know Dindo Yogo and Madilu would have been a beast together if they were both in Zaiko in the same time.

I have noticed and have been saying to many that Madilu's music is much more with Zaiko Langa Langa than OK Jazz. Listen to Madilu's songs during 1990s, you will see that it is highly similar to Zaiko.

Don't believe about Madilu would have been special with Zaiko Langa Langa. Listen to these three songs which another was with a Zaiko nzingzong work.
Dindo Yogo and Madilu System were singers who were so gifted and they worked at their craft to make their voices so golden. That came into effect during the 1980s.

In reality Dindo Yogo and Madilu System did work together. Dindo Yogo appeared on Madilu's 1995 album. Yogo sang on Maria and Pardon. Both songs, Dindo Yogo's voice was strong and on point. Pardon, you saw some melody of Dindo Yogo and Madilu System. It was magic in my ears.

But I wish, they had done more duets. I think we would have some enjoyment with them together. If they had done more, I think Neo Rumba listeners would see how genius their voices are together. Also the Zaiko songs would be banger on their own terms.

I will try to get more Duets posts coming. So busy these days.

My take on Kester Emeneya, Koffi Olomide, and Papa Wemba together

Hello my followers. I am back a little bit. Just got back in the mood of school and it will take more time for some while. I am going to cover the trio edition of three stars that did sing together during their earlier careers and one was clearly the star of the trio.

I am speaking the trio-ship of Kester Emeneya"King Kester", Koffi Olomide "Mopao Mokonzi" and Papa Wemba"Vieux Bokul". These three stars of DRC Congo "Zaire" are very known in the Congolese Community of today in Congo and Diaspora alike. However some have no idea that actually they were all together at one point.

Papa Wemba has had his group Viva La Musica since 1977. When Papa Wemba was 28 years old. He was a member of Zaiko Langa Langa before doing Yokele and eventually doing his home base of Viva La Musica which is Spanish for Music Lives or Long Live Music or Live Music. Two of the many members of this band are known legends today.

Kester Emeneya and Koffi Olomide. Both came to the band in 1977. Well Kester came from University of Lubumbashi and Koffi was a struggling songwriter who was not accepted by his idol Tabu Ley and Franco. Once they came to Viva La Musica, they were big in the group. In fact they contributed the most compare to other important members like Djuna Djanana, Dindo Yogo, Esperent Kisangani, Fafa de Molaki and Debaba. Kester Emeneya went on to form his band Victoria Elesien. Koffi Olomide and Debaba would come to form Historia Musica before Koffi found his base with Quartier Latin. But unfortunately these three stars's relationship was never the same and they would enter into big conflicts. Kester Emeneya, Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba all had a fallout with each-other. But Kester and Koffi had strong hatred for Papa Wemba.

KOFFI OLOMIDE VS PAPA WEMBA
Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba, it is known that they are not good friends anymore and have not since 1996. Their feud started when Koffi claimed that Wemba took all the money of the success of their album Wake Up. Of course Wemba was rightfully mad. Also Koffi was spreading rumors that Wemba envied him and wanted to be him. Papa Wemba had enough and harshly attacked him on his album "Fula Ngenge" where he got the name "Mzee Fula Ngenge". Koffi responded on the album Attenant which the generique mocked him and others as well. Their feud never and has not ended at all. In fact recently in 2009, A Koffi Olomide person sued Papa Wemba over "defamation" and money issues. Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba were fighting in court several times. They resolved in late 2009. But clearly as far as having friendships, it is pretty much over and they will stay as enemies.

KESTER EMENEYA VS PAPA WEMBA
Kester Emeneya and Papa Wemba were beefing primarily because Papa Wemba was becoming adventurous and Wemba was not focused on being the leader. I mean that must have been the feeling of Kester Emeneya. After all, Djuna Djanana and Dindo Yogo left to join Langa Langa Stars of the overrated star Evoloko Jocker. When Wemba did his adventure with Franco and Wendo Kolosoy, Kester Emeneya decided to make his group with other unhappy Viva La Musica musicians to form Victoria Elesien. But for Wemba, Kester's departure was little to none as he got other singers that would be more useful in Wemba's eyes. They were Luciana, Stino Mubi, and Remmy Amisi. In fact Stino Mubi and Reddy Amisi would become the important faces of the Viva La Musica when Papa Wemba would not be around. However their relation never improved. In fact I personally believe that Kester Emeneya's song Okosi Ngai Mfumu is a reference to Wemba. It is the idea that Wemba deceived him into believing that everything would be great when it turned out to be total mess. Kester Emeneya must have held a big grudge for Papa Wemba. He had some good reasons. As it turns out that one of the ex wives of Kester slept with Wemba. Oh boy. For years, Kester would throw some jabs at Papa Wemba. But Papa Wemba never responded. In fact Wemba tried to reconcile several times. But it had no success. Kester never wanted to reconcile with Wemba since he felt that Wemba hurted him so bad. They ended in pretty bad terms. When Kester died, Papa Wemba made a tribute song for him called Blessure. It must have hurted Wemba since he could never reconcile truly with his singer Kester Emeneya.

KESTER EMENEYA VS KOFFI OLOMIDE
Although this one is minor, there was a definite fallout between Kester Emeneya and Koffi Olomide. After Koffi began to get fame around 1988 period, it seemed that their relation slowly but surely began to take a wrong turn. Koffi Olomide attacked many artists in general in his song Attenant. Though Kester was never mentioned, it did not help that Koffi became more arrogant. He accused all Congolese Artists of envying him. Kester Emeneya clearly saw Koffi as an enemy as well. Some years before his death, he diced both Wemba and Koffi. As he said that their music is rubbish and they have evilness in their heart.

FPK'S OPINION
My opinion is this: I am not surprised to see this story. As we know, many artists have big egos and they allow their egos to take over them. Kester Emeneya, Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba had big egos and believed that they were superior to one another. As result, they entered into a big conflict. It is sad because I could have imagined that they had better control of their egos, I could have seen more songs of them together. All together.

Regardless, I loved the fact that Kester Emeneya, Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba sang a few songs together.

More female collaborations in Brazil than USA

What I am noticing that I find more female collaboration activities in Brazil than my own country USA. United States of America. I am highly disappointed in many ways as an American. I wish there would be more female collaboration than Brazil. I know Brazil is a pretty good country in many ways but USA the reigning country.

But I can see why. First of all, in USA, women have been oppressed so badly and were forced to be stay home moms and had to be a certain thing.

So I can see why it is more complicated. But this is the reason why we should more unity with women. But instead, we see more division and more anger. With Brazil, women were never quite oppressed and were always given allowance to be themselves. As result, it is easy for women get along better and I guess less jealously though I do think jealously is high with the Brazilian female singers since many are super sexy. Not normal sexy. Super sexy. Too sexy to handle I mean.

But with American female singers, it is a combination of natural anger and so much pressure. Since many record labels consider women to be puppets, some women feel the need to harm others to be living well.

So I can see why there are more work between female artists of Brazil and than USA.

Shimita's visit to Minnesota- 6th degree of connection

During the summer, I was spending more time on Facebook. Because I have gotten more popularity and I am trying to keep my charge of things there. While this was happening, I bumped into a video that involved Shimita.

Former Soukous Star singer Shimita came to my state of Minnesota.

Shimita came to visit a friend who was a former president of the Congolese Club in Minnesota name JD Lokenye. I actually saw him in a recent Congolese party held in Fridley, Minnesota. It was around July 4, 2015. He was president from 2004 to 2012. I assume that Lokenye is also a music producer. Lokenye and Shimita are friends according to Shimita himself. Actually it was Shimita who told me that he came to Minnesota. But it was only a visit and a event with Lokenye and no concert was planned. Now there is a reason for Shimita to come as well which led to my turning point that I am going to as well.

This is my third post of someone I am aware in Minnesota.
Here is the first post
Story of Judith
Here is the second post
Jana Nyberg

Like the two previous, it is about a woman. This is different twist however.

Shimita actually has about 5, 6 or 7 siblings. Shimita actually lives in Seattle, Washington. That happens to be where former Afrisa singer Wawali Bowane lives as well. Interesting point.

He has a younger sister that happens to live in Minnesota which I live as well as I mentioned already as well as former president of Congolese club JD Lokenye. I assume she and Lokenye are like best friends and Shimita keeps in close tabs with them as well.

This is an interesting time. I will see what the future. Maybe at some point, I can see Shimita, or JD Lokenye or even Shimita's sister.

Wait and see. Life continues.

African musicians that I would bring to Minnesota for a concert

Now relating to the Shimita post, I am going to speak on something important.
Shimita's Minnesota Visit

Now if I was able to put some African stars in a concert in my state Minnesota.

Here are the musicians I would like to be here.
Lukombo Djeffar (USA)
Lokassa Ya Mbongo (USA)
Shimita (USA)
Ngouma Lokito (USA)
Ballou Canta (France)
Dally Kimoko (France)
Dizzy Mandjeku (Belgium)
Beniko Popilipo (France)
Elvis Kunku (Belgium)
Djo Mali (Belgium)
Papa Wemba (DRC)
Lola Muana (DRC)
Adamo Ekula (Belgium)
Maika Munan (DRC)
Sam Mangwana (Angola)
Michel Boyibanda (Congo)
Youlou Mabiala (France)
Bozi Boziana (DRC)
Femi Kuti (Nigeria)
Mzee Makassy (Tanzania)
Mose "Fan Fan" Sengo (UK)

Samba of Virunga (USA)
Youssou N'Douff (Senegal)

These are the stars that I would bring to Minnesota to have a festival maybe for the weekend. This is all fantasy of course but I am allowed to fantasize a little bit. These men are legendary and they are important for the African Music. Of course all the musicians I mentioned are Congolese but you have those who are from Nigeria, Tanzania, and Senegal.

Now I would put about 20 songs of these men giving their best for the African Music lovers.
1) Fatimata by Sam Mangwana
2) Victim Mode by Huit Kilos
3) Lola Muana by Dindo Yogo
4) Sissina by Bozi Boziana
5) Boboto by Ballou Canta
6) Sadia by Ballou Canta
7) Bayaka by Shimita
8) Mbale by Shimita
9) Hello by Mose "Fan Fan" Sengo
10) Mokili Echange by Zaiko Langa Langa
11) Aicha by Africando
12) Our Young People by Youssou N'Dour
13) Thiapathioly by Etoile de Dakar
14) Balatou by Dally Kimoko
15) Bisalela by Franco & Le TPOK Jazz16) Chiffon by Pepe Kalle and Tabu Ley17) Liwa ya Welch by Franco18) Mosese by Mzee Makassy19) Bayaka by Shimita20) Mystic by Shimita

Now it is a ideal songs that I would arrange but the musicians have all the rights to agree to do them or not. So this is what I would love to do if I was able to.

This is something that I would do if I had the control of an African festival of one night. Some very old and some somewhat old. Together, I believe we can have a great spectacular show.

Discovery Brazil & Italy: Ana Carolina & Chiara Civello

This is the first time I doing non American or African music for that music or even Spanish speaking music. I am doing a music genre with the language of Portuguese which I know little since I know French pretty well. They are people that I discovered together. This is also the first time I am doing a little LGBT related thing. Since Gay Marriage is legalized in all 50 states in USA, this comes at perfect timing.

I am speaking of Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello

Well actually since I am very interested in International music now, I decided to check out this artist. Source came from Facebook itself. Before, I was listening to American, African or occasionally Spanish speaking music. Then through Facebook, I find some Brazilian music expect I cannot see many of them since I'm in the USA. Damn you Brazil. Heads up, I am going to be more frank than I usually am.

Then I saw the video of my now favorite artist from Brazil. She is Ana Carolina. She sang with Seu Jorge
Check this song here

That performance was very impressive and that is how I developed my love for Ana Carolina. So I decided to check out this artist. Boy did I found more than I asked for.

She was a fan of American artists and she had variety of musical styles that I loved as a child. But here is where she becomes even more popular with the good and the bad. But one thing that I find which fits into this article: She is BISEXUAL. You heard it. Bisexual. Do I believe her? Yes. But Ana Carolina is a what I call a Dyke or accurately Butch Women. She is a woman who has more masculine man.

BTW, if you want to see the very sexual side of Ana Carolina, check the song "Libido" which I know has something to do with serious fucking. Probably tips to make a penis work well and make a pussy work well with the lover. BTW not all the people are women, they are men too in this video. Kind of proving that Ana Carolina is bisexual.
Libido

Thanks to this knowledge, I get exposed to another artist.
That is Chiara Civello. Through life of Ana Carolina, I found the music of Chiara Civello. Just like Carolina, she is also a bisexual woman. She is what I call the "Femme" or the feminine woman type.

This is how I found out about Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello.

Before I do more commenting, let me show you some of the performances of Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello that I love.

I have a question: How the fuck did these two artists even met?

I have no idea. I mean these two artists are not from the same country. I know Brazil is a country with a lot more descendant of Europeans especially Italians. Which can explain why Brazilians have more curves than other women. But still I have no idea how Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello got acquainted. I have no idea.

But I believe that these two artists meet each other since 2007. It was then Chiara Civello only had 2 years old in the music scene and Ana Carolina had about 8 year experience then. Chiara Civello was born in June 15, 1975 in Rome, Italy. Ana Carolina was born in September 9, 1974 in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil. So basically Carolina and Civello are almost the same age.

There are rumors and speculations that Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello are or were a couple. They had a passionate relationship. They even seemed to entertain this earlier in their careers like going to television and jokingly say that they are married (hahahaha, lie since I don't see a damn wedding ring but that is me anyway). Some say that they broke up and others say that they are still together. It all depends I guess. What do I think. Do I think they are couple? Before I answer. Let me show you videos and photos of them together.

Some Videos

Photos

Here is my answer:
YES. I mean a resounding Yes. I know Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello have not performed together since 2013 and have not had a picture since 2014. But here is why I believe that they are a couple.
1) When I see them perform together (trust me, I have been watching over and over), I mostly notice sexual tensions.
2) They have similar voices (though Ana's voice is much more manlier in a sense).
3) Fans of their want to only speak about them together rather than their own artistry.
4) They don't hide their feelings for each other. It appears that they want to make love on stage. Also they want to kiss when they get too horny together
5) Both Ana Carolina or Chiara Civello refuse or don't want to say that they have broken up. Both have allowed people to believe that they are a couple. Neither of them has any intention of being "Single" if you know what I mean.

I don't why the fuck they would not make an attempt to clarify if they are a couple or not. If not, just say that. Damn it, say the shit that is going on.

Let me go further on my rant:
If they broke up in 2013 (which some insist), why the fuck would Chiara Civello would allow Ana Carolina to appear on her 2014 album "Canzoni". It makes absolutely no sense. I mean it would make no sense. BTW Ana and Chiara had already two songs before that which includes the famous one "Resta".
See the video here. You can see how much Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello are crazy about each-other. Their chemistry is unbearable. I mean UNBEARABLE.

Not to help matters, Chiara Civello did a song that is clearly about a woman. It is called "And I love her" or I can say in French, "Et Je l'aime" or in Portuguese "E Eu te amo" or in Spanish "Y la amo" or in Italian "E essa amo". Sorry no use of Bantu languages since I am going "EUROPEAN". I mean of course several male singers like sing like they are women and they are speaking about another man. But when Chiara sings in speaking about another woman, it is way different.
Look here
I mean notice she already gets all shook up and she puts her emotions into this song which was done by Beatles pacifically the composition of John Lennon who sadly died in 1980. I understand why she chose this song. It was on Valentine's day. I get that part. But I also believe that is not only the part of valentine's day. No way. The way she says "she gives me everything. And tenderly." I mean I don't believe that she is saying this only as just pleasure. Now who is she is speaking of?

In my opinion, she is actually doing a tribute of Ana Carolina and how crazy she is about her. I think what Chiara wanted to say was this:
Ana Carolina, you give me too much sexual enjoyment
I can't imagine my love without you on my side
You are my water when I am thirsty (it is a metaphor, use your brain, it is a sexual metaphor)
You are the reason why I think that I am so good
I feel your magic when you fondle me.
I feel so horny when we make love in the bed
We need to find more times to make some passionate love and my water can be fed as well as your water. Again a sexual metaphor. Some serious sexual shit I guess too much.

Let me ramble more, follow Chiara's twitter. Only 4 or 5 months ago, she made a reference to the song "E Penso a te" which I guess can be like "thinking about you" or something like that. That song, she happens to sing with Ana Carolina. Humm. Again some say that they broke in 2013. If that was true, why the living fuck would Civello allow this song with Carolina to even appear on her latest album "Canzoni" which will be officially released in USA this year alone. All the songs are included. No sudden change. The song "E Penso a te" is included in this album. Damn, I guess these rumors appear laughable.

OK, want more proof that Ana Carolina, and Chiara Civello are a couple, check out this person who has a Instagram only concerning ANA CAROLINA and CHIARA CIVELLO.
Machechiana
This is the Instagram page where you can find photos of Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello together. Now if they broke up, you really think this Instagram page would remain now. Guess who happens to like this page. Hmm. Chiara Civello. Chiara Civello is one person following this page. Very interesting. Just a month, this same page put a picture of some fan at Ana Carolina's show in New York I assume. Guess who was with the fan and attended the show? Right, Chiara Civello. She was with the fan, she was an attendant at the show. I mean it is obvious that they are still a couple.

Hmm, proof again, they are couple. No way in hell that Chiara Civello would attend Ana's show if they were no longer a couple or if they were not a couple which is clearly not the case. They are a couple. They have been so since 2007. It is just now, they are trying to be their "own" artists.

Actually there was a interview back in 2014, which they asked her about the song "E Penso a te", she used her love for Ana Carolina as great reason on why this song was made. She was happy to do this with Ana because "she was something special" and "it was love at first sight?". It was done in Italian but a friend gave me the english version of this interview. I am going to give you link of the original version of this article. You can translate this article to English from Italian if you want after this link.
L'Amore Fluido (Chiara Civello)

Finally, just a month ago. I mean A MONTH AGO, there was a interview with Ms. Ana Carolina with Roberta Costa in which they had a good interview about her show she did in New York. One of the question that she was asked as an producer. Guess whom she chose to focus on? CHIARA CIVELLO. Wow, really. Chiara herself. Yes.
Here is the link
Ana Carolina sobre um novo show

In conclusion, Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello are a great couple but an very odd couple. As I keep fucking saying, how the hell did they meet? Probably I will never the answer that I like. Plus they are very different people but then again, remember this damn fuckin phrase "Opposites Attract". Chiara Civello and Ana Carolina do have two things in common. They are very charming and largely flirtatious. But Ana is very shy while Chiara is very expressive. Maybe that explains that high sexual tensions because they feed on each other's big strengths and they want a piece of it.

I believe that they are a couple and neither of them have done anything to stop the posts about them. They still make references to each other. Now if they broke up, why still in 2014 and even this YEAR 2015 would they mention each other. I mean on Ana's latest interview, she purposely mentioned Chiara Civello's name. The fact that Ana wanted to mention Chiara's name when the interviewer never intended to ask her about Ms. Civello, says something. If they broke up, they would have done everything to disassociate from each other. Like a fan page of them would not exist and Chiara would never attended Ana's show and Ana would not be included in Chiara's latest album Canzoni. Furthermore, Ana Carolina would not be trying to almost produce or write all the songs of Chiara Civello's next album.

This will be one article I know lot of my fans will not be comfortable. I understand why? Not just the music but the taboo issue. GAYS and LESBIANS. And of course, BISEXUALS as well. But I do have a few fans are LGBT just for your information.

I do hope I can find more things to speak about Ana Carolina and Chiara Civello in the near future.

Evoloko Jocker classic Lp: La carte qui gagne

As many of you are aware, I don't care much about Evoloko's music but since my parents love his music too death (I don't why, but that is me), I will do a post about Evoloko on something that I actually like. I mean LIKE. Not TOLERATE. I can tolerate (or somewhat tolerate) most of Evoloko's music but man it is not special.

But this LP is an exception. This is not quite a rumba album but a popish album and I love it. I love it so much. This where I found some goodness of Evoloko. In my opinion, this is best work of Evoloko's music career. But since I don't care for Evoloko, I don't listen to this classic lp as much as I should or would like to. I apologize a lot. I'll do a little expression of Evoloko in general in French concerning this work and others.

I am making a point that Evoloko was so overrated and made into a bigger than he was. No wonder when in my view, Evoloko found some classics, he was largely forgotten. It is unfortunate but it make sense since he was over-promoted during his earlier days especially when he had the star group "Langa Langa Stars".

Enough of my rant, it is largely known. Let me focus on the songs that I love dearly. Let me start on the Santa-Dou or Ben Nsay as original with the ladies singing. I felt that it was so perfect and it fit the skills of the ladies. Also Evoloko sounded so lovely as in acting like a pop star. I actually had goosebumps since this does come from Evoloko.

Evoloko had a amazing time when he danced around the song Samedi Soir which means Saturday Night. It is perfect because a lot of parties tend to go on during the Saturday night. Furthermore, those trumpets and saxophonists are perfect and they go on note with Evoloko's vocals.

Then of course Evoloko's greatest song of his musical career. Not his Zaiko songs let alone earlier Langa Langa Stars song in my view. MBONGUE. This song is a great classic and you can see how genius Evoloko was. Evoloko for once sounded like a singer and he actually managed to impressive with his power. With those ladies, you got a classic to help from Souzy Kasseya. Actually you can dance and have a amazing behind this classic song.

You got the classic song Tour a tour which is basically you are looking for people to take their turn around life. Evoloko gave me goosebumps again. I enjoyed his voice around this song. It was something so important. Notice the natural singing from Evoloko.

Now think about Samedi Soir. Now this is something that I could never get enough of. Evoloko sang so well and he knew when to sing and how to sing with his female backup singers. It is a good demonstration of how you can get someone overrated and make them a real good song that you can enjoy.

But the song that I love the most from this classic LP is Litina Desepoir. My lord, I cannot get enough of this song. This song is the one that has dope beats and great keyboards. I love it so much. More importantly, Evoloko's voice was so good and so on track of a older R&B singer.

I love this LP from Evoloko so much that I cannot stop singing when I am mood which is very rare. But when I am in the mood, I really do enjoy this music a lot.

Now if Evoloko had more songs like this, I would definitely a well suited fan for him. This is Evoloko's greatest music work ever in his whole career. He did not any make better music before this classic Lp and he has not made any better music since this classic Lp.

If you want me to recommend to get a Evoloko LP, I say this LP is the best one.

Dream Duet: Evoloko Jocker and Lady Gaga

I wish two singers that should sing together.

Relating to my post about Evoloko's 1991 lp, I found someone that I think that Evoloko should sing with if he ever decided to remix his 1991 songs.
Check the 1991 post tribute
Evoloko's 1991 classic LP

I am speaking of Lady Gaga. Since Evoloko's 1991 was a pop album, one other person would fit his music of international pop. Mrs. Gaga. Plus the female singers do sound like her.

I actually have a good reason of putting these two stars together. Very good reasons. But I will one main reason: THEY WERE BOTH OVERRATED STARS. They were made a bigger than they actually were. As I expected, they crashed and crashed badly. People got fed up with them after making them a bigger deal than they actually were.

Evoloko's high life was essentially from 1981 to 84 when his Langa Langa Stars became a common band. Lady Gaga's high life was from 2008 to 2013. Just four or five years. Now they are mostly forgotten. Lady Gaga has a chance to regain her star but it is unlikely as people want other pop stars other than HER. Evoloko had no chance after 1984 as people went to other people like his friends Bozi Boziana and Papa Wemba

But the difference is that Lady Gaga has a delicious voice and Evoloko's voice is just something that you don't understand. Listen to Lady Gaga's performances with Tony Bennett, you hear water from Lady Gaga's vocals. I have posted quite a few songs of Evoloko. If you like them, please enjoy as much as you like.

But I believe that Evoloko would be good if he had a good duet partner. I believe Lady Gaga would be the one. They both have aggressive tones. They love to experiment their voices. They both can rap. Evoloko is a good animator. That is one thing that I do like about Evoloko. Lady Gaga could spit some rhymes if she wanted to.

These two stars were made for each other. They are both arrogant and flamboyant and nuts. Since they have wild personalities, it would be so much fun to get these artists to work together.

The only probable problem is that Evoloko does not know English well and Lady Gaga only really knows English. But however I believe that a USA producer who knows some African culture should find a way to bridge this gap.

Plus Lady Gaga and Evoloko flamboyance can be fun and you can be able to have a good time with it. That is the truth.

I think if Evoloko and Lady Gaga made an duet together, it would be something that could so enjoyable that fans of both sides can be dancing.

My wish: Evoloko Jocker and Koffi Olomide teamed up during the 1990s

It is weird that I am going to actually speak on Evoloko but I will. Plus my parents like his music. I also find Koffi overrated but at least he has some merit unlike Evoloko who primarily depended on over-hype of his small star.

As a Koffi Olomide fan, I actually noticed that since Koffi worked with Wemba, there is one person from Zaiko that would have fitted in with Koffi. Unfortunately it is not the Zaiko singers that I enjoy. The one that I don't care for much.

Evoloko Jocker

Because I actually had a dream that I hear Evoloko and Koffi singing on a old zaiko song that I liked a lot. Not a special one but I do like the song. I think Evoloko should have done a remix with Koffi.

Semeki Mondo would have been the hit that I would enjoy a duo-ship with Evoloko and Koffi. Because Koffi's voice could have melded perfectly and more importantly, they would have been able to make tight animations.

Here is my belief. During the 1990s, Evoloko and Koffi Olomide should done a album together like Koffi did with Wemba "wake up". They should have. I have good cases.
1) Evoloko's star was pretty much gone
2) Koffi Olomide was becoming a hot shot in the Congolese music scene.
3) Their voices are aggressive and are diverse
4) They are both narcissistic
5) They come from the Zaiko Clan

More importantly if they worked together, guess which's career it would have benefited? Evoloko. If Evoloko had worked with Koffi at that time, I can promise you that more people would have gotten more interested in Mr. Evoloko. But since he did no do this well, you know what happens from there.

But I am glad that Koffi Olomide and Evoloko did work together. It is good for me.

Grand Maitre Franco

Franco

You were artist that gave great memories
You brought real discussions into this superficial life
I think that you were the one who masted Rumba Music
You made your own version of Grand Kalle's Rumba
You had some magic all over many Africans
African people envied you so much
Many great singers came to sing with you
You made Zaire such an exceptional nation
You made Mobutu bow his knees to you
You were able to be Patrice Lumumba of Music
You were able to cross borders to make impact
You truly seen well in the East and West Congo
You made your authenticity count in the music scene

I could keep going but these sum how much the genius Franco was in his era. He was the one who put a stamp over others.

I give you

King of Rumba Franco.

Dream Duet: Franco and Soki Vangu

Franco actually should have sang songs with this man from the generation of Zaiko age. I am not speaking about Zaiko stars but one man that I feel never got his due.

I am saying Soki Vangu. Franco and Soki Vangu are the singers that I enjoy listening to. Sometimes when I listen to Franco's songs with Madilu or even Youlou Mabiala, I think of Soki Vangu. Sometimes when I hear songs with the voice of Soki Vangu, I feel like sometimes Franco would have fitted with Soki Vangu.

Don't forget Madilu System and Soki Vangu sounded very alike. I am not kidding, I actually thought the songs with Soki Vangu were Madilu himself singing. Of course it turns out that they did work together on a band that went no where in grounds. Maybe it turns to be good for Madilu who goes to sing for OK Jazz and Soki Vangu who would continue his success with Bella Bella since his brother Emilie Soki was an great adventurer.

I know Franco and Soki Vangu would be a an ideal couple for three reasons.
1) Franco loved many singers from the Veve label
2) Soki Vangu was very diverse with his voice
3) Bella Bella's music was much more into OK Jazz rather than Zaiko Langa Langa

Those three reasons are why I think Franco and Soki Vangu would be a perfect couple in songs. Not only one song but several songs. I can imagine some of Franco's classic songs having the voice of Soki Vangu. I can also imagine Soki Vangu songs having Franco's strong voice alongside with him.

Franco and Soki Vangu would be the ideal duet out of all the duets I made so far in my opinion.

Dream Trio: Gilberto Gil, Jimmy Cliff, Lionel Richie

This is something that should have been done years ago but this would be a dream scenario that I would have love to see done.

I am speaking of three stars of three different genres doing Reggae fun and that would bring the fans to the dance floor. More importantly that they are fans of Bob Marley. I mean almost everyone is obsessed with Bob Marley.

I am talking about Brazilian legend Gilberto Gil, Jamaican star Jimmy Cliff and American romantic pianist legend Lionel Richie

Here is the performance of Gilberto Gil and Jimmy Cliff singing Bob Marley's No Woman cry. It was so good.
When I saw this performance, it was so classic. Then I realized a third person in this song would have fit the ultimate great singing trio. The only person who could have been the "relaxer" would have been Lionel Richie.

Lionel Richie has shown in the past that he is comfortable doing things that usually don't fit his mojo. Like in 2012, he recently released a album where all his older songs are done in Country music style. Turns out it was a huge help in a continuous curiosity of Lionel Richie.

If these three men make a song together, I can promise you that people would bumping into the song especially the older folks who prefer older music.

Only if it could be the case, I would be happy and I know the songs would be meaningful.

Dream Trio: Madilu System, Nzaya Nzayadio and Papy Tex

I had a big dream one time of having these three men singing together in a place where I would enjoy. This will never happen but if it did, I would have been the happiest man alive.

I was imagining a scenario where I would have these three men singing together in a big stadium. They were Madilu System, Nzaya Nzayadio, and Papy Tex. Then I had a post where I would have wanted them to sing on. This remix that was done by Madilu and Papy Tex together.

Because if you had Nzaya Nzayadio in that song which Papy Tex and Madilu sang, you would have the complete package.
